Seuss's Artistic Antics

On Sunday a couple of friends and I went to see an exhibition of Dr Suess's work. Otherwise known as Theodor Seuss Geisel, this gentleman is well known for his massively popular children's books (apparently he published over 60!) - Cat in the Hat, anyone? Or - One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish, Green Eggs and Ham, The Lorax, The Grinch that Stole Christmas, Horton hears a Who!, Yertle the Turtle - just to mention a few...

But that's not all, oh no it is not!

He also was a political cartoonist for many years:

And did many fantastic paintings, most of which were never seen nor heard of until after his death...

Afterwards, there was some frolicking in the park. Quite a few raised eyebrows (and hopefully smiles too) as we acted out "Oh, the Places You'll Go!". Well, we had fun!
